High School Story Cheats And Tips

If you wish to head back to school without the homework and general awkwardness, then Pixelberry Studios' High School Story is the game for you. This fun title gives you the ability to create your own dream school, while establishing popularity, dating dream crushes and battling nearby rival Hearst High.
It's a fun game for all ages, but you may need a little help getting started. We've got you covered with these tips. Don't worry, we won't tell the teacher.
1
-As you begin, you're given the choice of three students - a jock, a prep and a nerd. The jock may be the obvious choice when it comes to making new friends or throwing parties, but that doesn't mean you should rule out the other two. Different students attract different types, and sometimes you'll need to combine people at hangouts to get particular students to join your clique. For example, if you want to attract a gamer, have a jock and a nerd at your hangout. Play around and see what options you get.
-When it comes to creating your ideal school, make sure you have a good mix of buildings. You want to educate kids and make sure they receive proper learning, but you also shouldn't forget to have fun. Have plenty of classrooms, but don't be afraid to throw in a halfpipe or something people enjoy. You don't want to send them running to Hearst.
-High School Story takes time. Missions like quests and parties can take a while to complete. You can buy in-game rings to use as currency to get somewhere, but it's best to wait things out. Not only will you save rings you have in your collection for when you need them, but you'll eventually get your school up to par - and your key student as well.
-When creating hangouts, go with the nerdy ones. They can hold 3,500 maximum coins compared to prep hangouts with 2,000 and jock hangouts with 1,000. On a side note, if it's more students you're after, go with the prep, since they can have a maximum of three students, compared with two for the jock and nerd.
-Invest in a huge chunk of land. High School Story quickly fills up with buildings, and keeping balance in mind, you'll need room to put them all. Use money to widen your territory, because as the game goes on, you're going to need it. Remember, the bigger school you have, the better - especially when compared to Hearst High.
-Need some extra rings and don't necessarily want to use cash? Check out Facebook. Logging in and linking classmates off your friends' list will earn additional currency. On top of that, extra classmates that you don't necessarily want can be removed, as you can "sell them" to others and recruit new ones. It's your school - make it how you want.
