The developers at PikPok have achieved great success on the two mobile app stores. In fact, the studio's Flick Kick Football managed to score 10 million downloads, and now it has company at the top in the form of Into the Dead, which also achieved that impressive milestone, less than five months from its release.
Available free-of-charge, the endless runner sends players through a creepy field populated by zombies. The goal? Stay alive as long as possible. No easy feat, but thankfully you'll go down firing, thanks to a variety of weapons.
"We have been extremely pleased with the critical reception of the game, as well as reaching such a large and rapidly growing number of gamers with a new IP" said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of PikPok. "I'm very proud of the team and process we have built that has been able to have repeat success, and look forward to seeing how our upcoming releases will be received."
We heaped plenty of praise upon Into the Dead in our review. If you haven't played this one yet, now's the time.
