Plants Vs Zombies 2 is already available to download from the Australian and New Zealand App Stores, but the rest of the world will have to wait until later in the summer to get stuck into the horticultural warfare. When you do get your hands on the game, you'll almost certainly have some burning questions about how to get hold of the various currencies in the game.

How do I get more Stars in Plants Vs Zombies 2?
If you want to unlock more worlds in Plants Vs Zombies 2, you're going to need to gather plenty of Stars. These are awarded from completing particularly challenging levels known as Brain Busters. You'll also get the opportunity to go back and earn more Stars from levels you've already beaten after completing the final "day" of each world.
Here's a very useful tip. Tempting though it is to use all of your juicy power-ups in regular levels, you should really save these up for the far more difficult Brain Busters. With the right power-ups, even these very tricky levels can be beaten comfortably. Hang on to all of your boosts, and you'll bank those precious Stars with ease.
How do I get more coins in Plants Vs Zombies 2?
Got your eye on a fancy new power-up? You're going to need plenty of coins to keep things ticking over. Keep a close eye on the zombies you destroy, as they'll very often drop some spare change from their rotting corpses. Certain levels will also offer you bonus coins, so by all means stick around and grind out a little cash by repeating these levels when you feel like it.
Try to avoid falling back on your lawnmower defenses at all costs. For every lawnmower you have remaining at the end of a level, you'll receive bonus coins. If you're still stuck for the coins you need, there's always the option of turning to the in-app purchase store, but this of course will cost you real world money.
How do I get more Plant Food in Plants Vs Zombies 2?
Plant Food, that delicious and nutritious turbo-powered fertilizer, has a dramatic effect on the plant you feed it with. Try applying it to Sunflowers for a massive boost to your Sun currency, or to an offensive plant if you need to dish out some serious damage.
To get more of this powerful stuff, destroy any glowing zombies that you see, then touch the food itself to add it to your bank. You can also spend some of your hard-earned game coins on Plant Food if you've completely run out. Note that you can only hold three doses of Plant Food in the bank at any one time, unless you upgrade this bank limit.
How do I get more keys in Plants Vs Zombies 2?
As with the regular coin currency, Keys drop from zombies. It's much, much rarer to see them though, so keep your eyes peeled at all times. You can also find them in Yeti Zombie Lunchboxes, but you'll have to be quick to defeat the powerful Yeti - a fight that will likely drain some of your power-ups, so be careful.
Note that while you can replay levels to get more Keys, each world has its own specific set. You can't carry your Key stash from one world into the next.
