This time, we visit chilly Iceland, where slippery-looking roads and dangerous jumps await. With our helpful tips, you'll weather the storm in no time.
-The beginning is uneventful, with a straightaway leading into a sharp right turn. Conserve boost and add to it by drifting, then do the same for the two hairpin turns. Don't worry about looking for Nitros, as you won't find any.
-After getting through the second hairpin turn, you'll see a corkscrew ramp. Take it, regardless of whether you have boost. You'll catch much-needed air, adding to your boost meter. Just make sure you hit it at the highest point, so you clear the dirt clump sitting on the left side of the road. Then boost when you hit the ground.
-Once you approach a small mountain ridge, the road divides. The main part will take you left, while the other is a small service road that takes you into the mountain itself. At first, the right path appears to be the best choice, as you gain access to Nitros as well as a jump that takes you to a smaller dirt road. However, in this case, go left. It's much shorter and will keep you in the hunt for a first place victory, whereas the mountain road could put you further behind.
-Watch out for a cavern tunnel on the right hand side after passing the mountain. This will save you a few seconds. Avoid hitting the sides. Otherwise, you may wreck the vehicle.
-The main roads will join up again, and they'll become icy. This could make drifting somewhat of a hassle. Stick to the main roads, but also watch out for the ice lake in the center. You'll be able to shortcut across this and save time.
-After getting past another hairpin turn, the road splits between upper and lower sections. This is a great opportunity to earn last second boost power, not only from the jumps between the road, but also by collecting boost. Stick to the higher path as often as you can for big air.
