Google Doodles are the fun logos they create to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers, and scientists. The first doodle hit our computer screens in the year 2,000, and since then there has been over one thousand different versions adorn the Google homepage. If you have not yet checked out today’s doodle, I suggest you head over there right now because it’s a Roswell inspired mini game!
It is sixty six years today since the famed Roswell incident in New Mexico. To this day, the American government insist it was nothing more then a surveillance balloon that crashed in the desert, but of course we all know the truth, it was a UFO containing beings from beyond the stars!
Everything starts with a brief animation of the UFO crashing to earth. The idea of the game is simple enough, find the parts of your craft so you can fix it and get home. Just in case you are having problems though, I thought I would come up with a little walk through for you.
- You are a little alien standing on a hill
- Walk down the hill and the first part of your UFO is right there
- Head left until you see a large cow and untie it (the rope will go into your inventory)
- The cow will walk to the right, eat the grass and reveal a hole in the ground
- Jump down the hole and pick up the radioactive fuel can
- Pour the fuel on the plant so you can climb it to get out
- Walk right to the barn and climb the ladder to get the horse shoe
- Tie the horse shoe to the rope and use it to get the second part of your ship off the roof
- Click on sack of chicken feed by the barn to pick it up
- Continue walking right until you see a chicken
- Feed the chicken and it will drop a feather (click on it to pick it up)
- Use the radioactive fuel on the tree on the left and click it until you reach the sleeping farmer
- Tickle the farmer and he will drop the third part of your ship allowing you to zoom off back home
