Monsters University arrived in theaters this past weekend, and fans can take the experience with them in Disney's Catch Archie, a free-to-play mobile game that casts players as beloved character Mike as he attempts to track down Archie the Scare pig through 10 stages. Get stuck, and these tips will help you nab that feisty critter in no time.
-Although swiping left and right moves Mike in those directions, he quickly returns to the center. Always keep this in mind when trying to avoid obstacles.
-Collect as many pennants as possible to increase Mike's score at the end of the stage.
-You'll receive more points for a.) catching Archie, b.) collecting lots of pennants and c.) catching the pig in the fastest time possible.
-Continue leveling up to unlock boosts that prove useful in game, like the magnet that automatically attracts pennants and the football helmet that makes Mike temporarily invincible.
-It's always a good idea to begin tapping the screen as Mike gets closer to Archie, even before the game prompts you to. The sooner you hop onto that pig, the better.
-While riding Archie, tap the right and left sides of the screen to keep the yellow arrow in the center of the meter.
-It's OK to fall off Archie. You just need to catch him before time runs out.
-When Mike jumps onto Archie, pay close attention to Archie's meter near the top of the screen. The less orange inside the meter, the closer you are to catching the pig.
-Don't worry when approaching a fork in the road. Mike always runs chooses the safest path and one with pennants.
