Iron Man 3 (iOS) Walkthrough - Part 1

Welcome to the beginner’s guide to Iron Man 3, the mobile game, now out on the iPhone, iPad, and Android! The movie hasn’t even come out yet but the game has become one of the most popular games on both app stores. It’s of the endless runner genre, except that since you’re Iron Man, you fly, and the story is woven in seamlessly with the game. Whether you are new to the game or you simply have questions about the game, read on and you’ll find some answers!

As you start off, you’ll immediately be flying. You switch back and forth between flying right on the ground, and flying higher in the air. When you’re flying on the ground, your main goal is to collect Stark Credits (the red things) and avoid various obstacles such as trucks and walls. When you’re flying higher in the air, your goal is to shoot down the various enemies that you come across.
Shooting down enemies also earns you Stark Credits, and you’ll earn bonus credits each time that you land a combo against an enemy. You have two possible attacks. You can tap to take a quick shot at an enemy, or you can hold your finger down on the screen to do a constant laser shot. The laser shot can be swiped all around the screen, allowing you to land combo attacks by swiping multiple enemies with one single laser.
There are various power ups that you can collect along the way as well. Get the red power up to speed up and go invincible for a short time. Get the yellow one to double your score for the next fifteen seconds.
Get the green one and you will become invincible for a short period of time. Get the blue one to recover your special weapon energy, and get the purple one to activate a magnet effect, which will suck all power ups and Stark Credits to you for a short period of time.
